Creamy Protein Hot Chocolate
This recipe is dedicated to anyone who cannot fathom the idea of drinking a smoothie in the winter. I get it. So here’s an option that will be just as filling for breakfast, but much warmer and cozier on freezing cold days!
My Creamy Protein Hot Chocolate is a grounding and delicious way to get a full 30g of protein (9g from the enhanced collagen + 21g protein from the soy milk & cashew butter) and it’s a hit with all my clients who struggle to eat breakfast, but love something warm in the morning.
And as a bonus, thanks to the enhanced collagen and antioxidants from the cacao, your dry winter skin will get a boost!
Ingredients
1 cup soy milk
1 tbsp cashew butter (or other nut butter)
2 scoops Organika enhanced collagen * (discount code below)
2 tsp honey
2 tsp cacao (or raw cacao) powder
Directions
Steam the soy milk and add it to the blender along with the rest of the ingredients. Blend until everything is incorporated and smooth. (Be sure to let steam escape!)
