Looking for a fun and festive way to get into the holiday spirit - that’s also healthy?

These are one of my favorite treats - Gingerbread Energy bites! These nut free, sugar free, kid friendly snacks will be a hit at any holiday get together, but they’re also just a great healthy option to have on hand for everyday snacking.


Made with Organika Health Enhanced Collagen to support joint, skin, hair & nail health + natural sweetness from the Medjool Dates which are high in vitamins D and B6 as well as fiber and potassium + Ginger & Cinnamon to give you all the holiday feels. Make sure you hide a few away for yourself because in my house with two active kids, they go fast!

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups medjool dates

1 cup oat flour* (I make my own, see below how)

1/4 cup almond butter

1 tbsp blackstrap molasses

1/2 tsp ginger

1/2 tsp cinnamon

Directions

Combine everything in a food processor and blend well until the mixture sticks together. You can roll them into cute little balls, or press them flat into a parchment lined pan and cut into squares. 

Set in the fridge for 1-2 hours before serving.

* Make your own oat flour by throwing whole rolled oats into a food processor or high speed blender and blending until they form a fine flour. Stir occasionally to check texture.
