My Favourite Trail Mix

I’m super into trail mix these days! ...Not that I’ve been hitting many trails lately. But it looks pretty sitting on my desk at work 🤓
Here’s my favourite “formula” for trail mix that I taught at my healthy snack workshop last week. The sky is the limit in terms of combos!
Trail Mix Formula
* 4 parts nuts and seeds (almonds, pecans, peanuts, cashews, walnuts, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, macadamia nuts, etc.)
* 2 parts dried fruits (raisins, cranberries, goji berries, blueberries, mangoes, pineapple, apricots, cherries, apples, mulberries)
* 2 parts something crunchy (coconut chips, roasted chickpeas, banana chips, popcorn, granola/cereal)
* Optional: 1 part something chocolatey (chocolate chips, dark chocolate chunks, cacao nibs, chocolate covered coffee beans)
My current mix:
1 cup Almonds
1 cup pecans
½ c Dried Goji berries
½ c Dried Cherries
1 c Roasted Coconut Chips
¼ c Dark Chocolate Chunks
